Recently refurbished (2018/2021) open plan pub with modern black and white decor and wood beamed ceilings. Comfy seating throughout except to the rear which is a public bar style area with stools and dart board. Outside at the front are a couple of unique wheel based benches, covered seating on the narrow patio to the side and a larger patio area at the rear that has a marquee. Accommodation is available upstairs, consisting of four double rooms and a family room. A wide range of modern pub food is served all day.
Community Supported
The pub was leased to The Wheel Inn at Bowling Green, Pennington, Community Benefit Society Limited, and run by a manager. However the Community Benefit Society failed in 2020, and the pub is now operated by an individual. However, there is no question that the efforts of the community group saved this pub from permanent closure.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
