This late-Georgian building, with dentilled cornice, pilastered doorway and bay window, was once part of the estate of Devenish brewery (closed 1985). It is now a large and comfortable pub-cum-restaurant. Live music is played one Friday each month. Food is available, with various deals on offer including a 'pie & pint' offer. The pub has a garden to the rear.

The pub reopened as the 'Sail Inn' on 24/06/2019 - just the bar on that day, with real ales from Ringwood and Marston's, and the official reopening with full service from 28/06/2019. Much of the description and features listed on this page will be out of date. Please send in any updates.
