Roadside village pub, once part of the Hursley Estate, as was most of the village. A fine example of 16th century recycling, having reputedly been built using timbers from an early HMS Dolphin, hence the pub's name. Photos and local history stories decorate the walls, with an emphasis on a few HMS Dolphins. Internally, while now mostly one room served by a central bar, it has brick and timber pillars keep a segregated feel, plus a hidden dining area at the far side of the bar. A garden at the rear has benches and a children's play area, with stables at the side offering two large en-suite rooms. A wide variety of food is provided including griddle meals, burgers and specials board.

Historic Interest

Reputedly incorporates timbers from a 16th Century HMS Dolphin, hence its name.
