The Brigadier Gerard has three zones: a traditional main bar, a lounge area with comfortable seating and a restaurant. It serves home-cooked food, including specials board and stone baked pizzas that are also available for take-away. Outside there are three seating areas: a grass area at the front, an artificial grass area to the side and a patio at the back. Also at the back is a rather grand pagoda for smokers, which has TV, heaters and WiFi.

Historic Interest

The pub was opened in 1974 as 'The Old New Inn' after being built on the site of the former New Inn which dated back to 1803.
