This Pub is Permanently Closed

The pub closed on 09/03/2015 after Admiral Taverns sold the pub to Salisbury based Culverhill Retail. Plans are to convert it to a shop. Previously the description read: Formerly the Ashley Hotel, now simply the Ashley, this pub's single, large bar puts the emphasis on sport. There are two pool tables, table football, and a sports television with a projector screen. Pool is free on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and there is a poker tournament on Tuesdays. The garden has a children's play area. Simple pub fare is served at weekend lunchtimes, and musical entertainment is provided by a disco or a live band on either Friday or Saturday night.
