Micropub
New Milton's first micropub opened in December 2017. Ideally situated close to the railway station & station carpark (with Ringo), it is a converted shop unit giving plenty of customer space at the front with comfortable seating and tables both sides, there is a very long bar counter and the bar is at the rear of the pub.
Behind the bar is a fridge cabinet with draught cider boxes and bottled beverages and a glass door leads to a cooled room where all the other beers and ciders are racked up - the beers, cask and keg, are fetched from here; the bar is clear of any clutter. Beyond the bar a corridor leads to the loos, and the white walls invite visitors' graffiti and there is good reading to be had.
Basic bar snacks are available from the bar and for more substantial food you are welcome to bring in food from the local take-aways - plates, cutlery and condiments are happily provided.
The Hourglass opens early, 12 noon, first Thursday of the month for 'Thirsty Thursday'
