Overlooking the village green, this traditional country inn, with five letting rooms, features a cosy bar room with a real fire, a lounge/dining room and a large function room known as the Long Room. The building has been refurbished throughout by the owners, while retaining a village pub atmosphere. Excellent meals are available and four regular Yorkshire beers are served, often together with a changing ale. Live music is hosted on Sunday lunchtimes once a quarter. The Bedale to Masham bus stops nearby on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
