Friendly, country pub close to the county border. This 17th century coaching inn has bare brick walls and sturdy beams with the original flagstoned floor. Herefordshire ciders are available and an excellent range of food, from breakfast (check their website for times) to dinner. The main menu includes English and curry dishes.

The garden has a children's play area. The old arched cellar has a spring running through it.

Large car park, and the Ross - Gloucester bus stops outside.
