The Black Dog is a re-furbished, Grade II listed, 17th century half-timbered pub located in the heart of Newent. It is child-friendly and welcomes all, including families and dogs. Daytime and evening meals are served in the open lounge and separate dining area.

It hosts evenings of live music, traditional pub games, a pool table, and a large sports TV. Thee is a sheltered outdoor smoking area and on-site parking.
