This characterful 17th century pub was fully refurbished in 2019 and has a warm and inviting interior that any pub would love to have. Two separate bars enable a vibrant drinking trade alongside a more relaxed dining clientele. With feature fireplaces, beamed ceilings, and a mixture of tiled, carpeted and wooden flooring the "Woolly" has it all. With the location on the High Street in Stonehouse there is a good footfall to gain trade from during the day.

An adequately sized, and fitted, kitchen gives scope for a varied food menu to appeal to a wide cross section of the community.

To the rear is a safe and secure patio area that is a real sun trap in summer and can seat up to 50 people. To the front is a car park for customers to use. Attractive-looking pub set back from road. Comfortable lounge. Games in public bar.

Historic Interest

The Stonehouse History Group have researched the pub and determined the earliest recorded mention of the Woolpack Inn was 1820 but that there was probably a building on the site long before that.
