This is a hotel, which means that the bar is only open to residents.

Hotel - bar/restaurant is open to non-residents.

Stonehouse Court is a grade II listed Cotswold stone hotel, which was a former 17th century Manor House. It is set in beautiful expansive grounds and backs on to the Stroud Water Canal.

The front of the premises faces and can be seen from the A419. To the rear there is terrace and a large lawn.

In the main Manor House there is a restaurant, terrace, bar, library, conference suites, and some guest rooms. A Garden Wing comprises further guest rooms and the large function room with its own bar.

Entering the hotel at the front you emerge into a large area, with intricate wood panelling. In front of you is found the reception desk.

To your left is the bar area with impressive stone fireplace which hosts a very large fire in the winter months. Imagine logs nearly 2ft long cracking with flames dancing for your delight. The Bar is found at the far end and is well stocked though regretfully it no longer has real ale. A door to the right of the bar leads into the library which is also available to drinkers. There is a narrow tone spiral staircase to the terrace/gardens.

To the right of reception up some steps the restaurant and main hotel rooms are found. Double back and downstairs the toilets may be found.

When surveyed Stonehouse Court did keep one keg beer - Sharps Atlantic.
