Converted from a former furniture showroom, it is now a comfortable watering hole. Reminiscent of pub group design, this independently owned hostelry has a large split-level room with balustrades. Close to the National Centre for Crafts and Design, it is popular with tourists and can become very busy at times.

Following refurbishment, the pub re-opened in March 2026 serving three beers from 8 Sail Brewery.
