Thatched Devon longhouse that became a pub in the early 1800s. It was rebuilt after a major fire in 2004, retaining a welcoming atmosphere and gaining excellent toilets with disabled access. There is a large, safe garden, and a well-used skittle alley. A quiz night is held monthly on the first Sunday, with other events that maintain the pub's position as an important part of village life.
