A friendly pub which earns the tag line: No.1 in the High Street. It has served over 1124 different real ales and won several local CAMRA awards. Guest beers are updated on social media. Regular events include a quiz, charity days and league darts.

Welcoming in all seasons, with a beer garden and an open fire indoors during winter. A community oriented venue with traditional bar games including shove-ha'penny with real ha'pennies. Live music two Sunday afternoons a month and karaoke second Sunday of the month.
