Situated in the historic market town of Mold the pub has a large split-level drinking/dining area and an outside terrace (smoking area). There is good wheelchair access to the bar and the disabled toilet. It is named after a 4,000-year-old solid gold ceremonial cape found at a site near Mold in 1831. Made from a single sheet beaten gold, embellished with intense decoration, the original was restored and is in the British Museum London.
