Busy pub in 17th century building with its floor below street level. Open plan with distinct levels. Refurbished in 2015. Beers, including two changing seasonal ales, are from The Hyde’s range. 50p off real ales Mon-Fri 1200-1700. Numerous televisions are mainly used to show live sport and a jukebox is often in use when the televisions aren’t being used. Dominoes league games are played on Mondays with the pub hosting three teams, new members welcome. Other pub games also available.
