This Pub is Permanently Closed
Built in the 1930s as the British Queen, this handsome pub has had its ups and downs in recent times, its spells as Bumpers Fun Pub and as Fat Jacks being the nadirs. The current incarnation dates from 2009 with the interior design taking inspiration from the ranch style of Western Canada, hence the name. It began by offering a "fine dining restaurant menu" but its gastropub aspirations have since been scaled back. Food is served 12 - 9 every day except Sunday when there's a carvery from 12 - 5. Pool table is 50p a go. The only real ale is uninteresting and over-priced.
