Large pub at the southern end of the village with a prominent position on the B6144 and a focus on dining. A main lounge, with a lower room offset, is located to the left of the main entrance and is used principally for dining although there is a drinkers area in the main lounge. A tap room is located to the right of the main entrance and provides a quieter area for drinkers. In-between is a centrally located bar with serveries to both areas. Food deals are available on Mondays and Thursdays. There are also reductions on the price of a pint and a wine offer on Mondays. A quiz with free supper is held on Tuesday nights. Traditional roasts are offered on a Sunday.
