This Pub is Closed Long Term

Modern, friendly Beefeater pub, built in 2011 and opened in November of that year as the Merry Monk. The latter name was dropped from the signage within a year and replaced with the current generic one, but it is still used on the website and on some documentation.

Internally, the large, open plan single room, with some partitioning, is mostly set out for dining, but drinkers are welcome to use a lounge-type area at one end.

Standard Beefeater menus, with 'Daytime Savers' up to 6.30pm. Breakfasts are also available, 6.30 - 10.30am.
