Attractive hotel, parts of which date back to the mid-19th-century, overlooking the River Trent. Beautifully landscaped all round, the large garden includes lawns which sweep down to the river and a private island. An open plan lounge bar is linked to a restaurant area, with views over the river; beamed ceilings and extensive oak panelling throughout. Meals available all day every day to 10pm. Hotel has civil wedding licence, coarse fishing licence, and offers conference/function facilities for up to 150 people. Occasional live entertainment.
