Located on the southern edge of the village, this lively family-friendly Victorian locals pub features a large public bar, with a smaller lounge linked to a 52-seater restaurant. The lounge features an unusual secluded section to one side, designated The Library, with bookend patterned wallpaper, two comfy settees and a coffee table. A hallway off the lounge offers access to the patio and garden.
Historic Interest
A pub existed on the site in 1789, and was recorded as the Gate Inn in 1818. No information on the current building but it was probably built in the late 1800s.
