Historic Interest

It opened as a Beefeater steakhouse in late 1987 when it sold Castle Eden Ale, see planning application 28738/87. The pub was listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide as selling Castle Eden Ale (H). It was featured in Bolton Pub Scene 2 in Spring 1995 with a photo and pub details.
