Farmers Arms, Bolton (Subhans Restaurant)

In May 1981 this was a keg Whitbread pub. It wasn't until September 1987 when the pub was refurbished that cask beer appeared on the bar with Chesters Mild and Bitter, Hartleys XB and Pompey Royal. A social was held here on December 13th 1987. The Pub was listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide as selling Chesters Mild, Hartleys XB and Marstons Pedigree. In 2010 Pub was closed and up for sale. The pub was listed at Pugh's auctions on 24/02/2011, but had been sold prior to this. Pub mentioned in Darcy Lever Pub crawl in 2012 with three Handpumps only one in use selling Robinsons Dizzy Blonde (£2.35). For a short period in 2013 it was called the Darcy Bistro, but then closed. When it reopened as the Farmers Arms again it was selling Timothy Taylor Landlord, then Thwaites Bitter followed by a Blackedge beer. By 2015 there was no cask beer available, but by 2016 cask beer had reappeared for the next couple of years, but disappeared again. Wainwrights appeared in 2019 but not for long as the pub closed again.
