Historic Interest

In May 1981 this was a keg Whitbread pub. It wasn't until September 1987 when the pub was refurbished that cask beer appeared on the bar with Chesters Mild and Bitter, Hartleys XB and Pompey Royal. A social was held here on December 13th 1987. The pub was listed at Pugh's auctions on 24/02/2011, but had been sold prior to this.
