Historic Interest
In May 1981 it was a Tetley keg pub, but was included on a Tetley list in August 1983 as selling Mild and Bitter (H). It was included on the June 1985 Bolton Insert as selling Tetley Mild and Bitter (H). In August 1986 it was Included in a Farnworth and Kearsley Article as selling Tetley Mild (72p), Bitter (73p) E and Jennings Bitter (70p) (H) and on the 1922 pub List. It was included in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide as selling Tetley Mild and Bitter (H). It was visited on a Stoneclough pub crawl on 23rd August 1991. In July 1995 the pub was selling Holts Bitter and was included on the Holts Free Trade list a year later. In september 1997 the Bookies next door had been demolished and this made way for a pub car park. In September 1999 the Holts Bitter was ÂŁ1.18 a pint. There was no cask beer available in 2010, but by June 2013 Holts Bitter was available, but a year later it was Bank Top Flat Cap as well, though at times no cask beer was available, especially before it closed.
