Historic Interest

In 1982 it was a Greenall Whitley keg pub but by October 1983 it changed to cask Greenall Whitley Mild and Bitter (H). It was listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton guide as selling Greenall Whitley Mild and Bitter (H). In 2002 the pub was selling John Smiths Cask Bitter, Tetley Bitter and Cains Mild. By 2010 it was known as Barristers at Blackrod and was selling Bank Top Dark Mild, Tetley Bitter and Moorhouse's Blonde Witch.
