As the only pub in the village it is very popular with locals. Most of the building is 18th century but part dates back much further. It is a family friendly pub with lots of events held regularly, such as a market, quiz nights, art exhibitions and so-called feasting nights. There is an extensive menu with specials on a board near the door. It is very conveniently located near to J4 M4/A34.
