Pub/restaurant.

Re-opened in May 2015 after a major refurbishment having been taken on by Oakman Inns. The two hand pumps feature changing beers often from the Fuller's range. The interior is highly contemporary but the historic English Civil War era mural has been lovingly retained and highlighted. An impressive Georgian façade with no less than 20 windows dating from the 17th century. There are two separate restaurant areas plus the front bar and a large outdoor courtyard.

Historic Interest

A Royalist civil war mural discovered behind a later wall during refurbishment is on display in the bar.
