This Pub is Closed Long Term

Closed due to fire.

[Originally a farmhouse, this handsome old free house retained a wealth of heavy wooden beams and period features. The large, pleasant garden was popular in fine weather.]

A serious fire in September 2025 has destroyed this village pub. A reporter said: "The pub is absolutely gone. A chimney is still standing, but not a lot else." The future of the premises is uncertain.
