A charming, thatched community pub with a warm welcome and an attractive garden popular with families. Guest beers are usually from local microbreweries. Good-value, home-cooked lunches are served Tuesday to Sunday and evening meals Tuesday to Saturday. There is a regular Thursday evening quiz. Spring and summer bank holiday festivals are held, plus a sausage and cider festival in April and a gin festival in June. Local CAMRA Pub of the Year 2022 and 2025, Community Pub of the year 2024.
