Comfortable, 17th century coaching inn re-opened in 2014 as a free house offering a good choice of cask beers. A split-level bar provides inviting corners for drinking and conversation. Home-cooked food is served in the bar and restaurant throughout the week, with the kitchen using local suppliers as far as possible. Daily specials use local, in-season produce where possible. Five luxury bedrooms upstairs. The restaurant is available to hire for private events.
