Micropub
Now a micropub, housed in a 1903 Midland Counties Bank. Grade II listed, the building is an interesting and unusual Art Nouveau design, and has a most impressive façade. The interior is little changed, retaining the original entrance lobby, light oak panelled walls and chimney breast. Alterations made as part of the conversion to micropub have been undertaken sensitively and to a high standard, particularly the installation of a temperature controlled cool room.
Six regularly changing beers (mostly from local breweries) are dispensed by gravity. Real ciders, tea and coffee are also available. A popular and friendly establishment, close to a number of bus routes to Derby, Nottingham and Loughborough, and a must for visitors to the area.
Reopened 1st December 2022 following a short closure, retaining the previous management team as the new licensees.
This Pub serves 6 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
