A one-bar pub licensed since 1830, but refurbished and re-opened in 2016 after standing empty for nearly three years. It has a bright, uncluttered look with upholstered dining chairs and leather sofas, which may surprise those who remember the old wooden pews. There is a family garden to the rear. The three real ales change regularly, responding to what regular customers want.
