A new brewery and taproom opened in 2024 (in what was the site of Wild Beer - now in Kent) and located in the small village of Westcombe, close to Shepton Mallet and Evercreech.
The Beer Hall is a single space in one half of a large building located on a dairy farm specialising in fine small batch cheeses and upmarket ice cream. Two of the brewery’s cask ales are served through reclaimed handpumps alongside four keg brews. The hall is simply furnished with wooden tables and chairs and the game of ‘ring the bull in one corner. Regular pop-up food and music events are held – details at https://www.instagram.com/woodsheddingbeer/
Food is available in the form of a ‘Westcombe Plate’ with cheese, charcuterie, Landrace bread, all of which are made on site.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
