What had been terribly run down in Council ownership will once again shine from its prime site overlooking the Cascade and Haven at Ventnor with a Balcony and Roof Garden. An older Pavillion was demolished in 1935 to make way for this art deco Winter Gardens, similar in appearance to the De La Warr Pavillion in Bexhill at a cost of £19,400.00 and opened on the 17th August 1936. Breakfast served daily from 9.30 with bar opening at 11am. Closing times are flexible according to demand and there is a 2am events licence. No food service winter afternoons with additional service Friday, Saturday evenings. One real ale winter
