This Pub is Permanently Closed
14th century building once part of the Whitefriars monastery, subsequently a butcher's shop before being renovated and made into a pub. The small front room used to be a kitchen used by the friars, now with a welcoming fire in the winter months. Upstairs room worth viewing for the mural on the wall and uneven floors! No food on Sundays.
Historic Interest
Dates back to 14th century, but only recently a pub
