This is a traditional community pub, under new management in August 2026. On entering the pub you have a choice of the lounge or snug: the lounge has a friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere, where a crib team plays on Tuesdays. The snug is a traditional bar, welcoming and warm if a little basic, with a juke box and darts. Food is filled baps and crisps. Monday is 'Ale Day', with a reduced price on their Butcombe Original.
