Just off the main high street Nailsea’s first micropub opened on 27th September 2019 in a former opticians. There is a friendly atmosphere about the place and three or four real ales are served straight from the cask together with Rich's local cider, a rhubarb cider, and a lager. In addition there are now 5 lines for changing craft keg beers. The beer offerings, displayed on a chalkboard, are of all styles from around the country but usually from local breweries. Bottles and cans of beers and ciders, various spirits, wines, alcohol-free and soft drinks are sold as well as well as reasonably priced bar snacks. Although there is no dedicated parking, there are ample car parks nearby as well as the X7, X8 & X9 bus stops. The pub opens at 10am on Market Days which occur on the third Thursday of the month. The TV is used for major sports events on terestial TV only. May occasionally open on Sundays - announced usually via facebook. Well behaved dogs welcome, and children until 6pm. The owner often visits Nottingham so brings back a few ales from brewries there.
