Friendly local in the cobbled main street of a historic conservation village. The single bar serves two distinct drinking areas, the left-hand one of which has a real fire in winter and that to the right has a piano. The main bar is decorated with many local photographs showing the village and a supply of books and DVDs are available for a donation to charity. They specialise with 170 different Gins and currently hold two Gin Festivals a year. There is a lovely sun-trap beer garden to the rear.
