Family friendly pub on the A6 towards the easterly end of the village. Although the exterior is now painted it was one of the first brick-built properties in the village and gave the name to the adjacent Red House Lane. The contemporary interior is open plan and there is a small outdoor patio area to the front. Short walk uphill from Peak Forest Canal (bridge 26).
