Recently refurbished, and set in the Conservation area, dating from the early 19th century, this pub is a large, low-beamed, L-shaped bar on more than one level. The pub has three real fires, a TV screen and a pool table. There is a carpeted, quiet area at one end, and a modern patio at the entrance. Traditional pub food, light snacks and sandwiches are served at lunchtime (not Mondays). A traditional roast is offered on Sundays.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers (up to four changing beers, including one each from Adnams and Marstons, one national and often a local beer) and 0 regular beers.
