Situated on the outskirts of town on the road to Braintree. Following an extensive refurbishment in a modern style, the two low ceilinged rooms have now been joined together. There are televisions throughout the pub, with both Sky and BT Sports. The pub has a large patio and an extensive garden. There is on both Friday and Saturday, a disco, karaoke, and sometimes live music.

No real ale (cask) or bottled ales available, the only keg bitter on tap is John Smiths.
