Historic Interest

In January 1979 the pub was listed (17) in an article about Farnworth and Kearsley pubs. In May 1981 this was a Bass keg pub. There is no record of cask beer being available until 2010 when Black Sheep Bitter was on the bar, by the spring of 2015 there was also a guest beer when Robinsons Dizzy Blonde was also available, but with a change of landlord both disappeared though Black Sheep did return, but by 2017 the handpump was no longer in use.
