Set in a pretty village, which was home to the American 381st Heavy Bomb Group during WWII. Annual beer festivals are held in summer on the patio behind the pub. The bar area has been modernised, and the restaurant has a collection of clocks. As well as a choice of excellent real ale and food, the pub offers an interesting selection of good-quality wines to suit a variety of tastes, and 4-star accommodation.
