The White Horse is a typical town local, with the building dating back to the 18C. There are two bars, one of which is a games room with pool, darts and a large TV screen for live sports. There is also a pretty enclosed patio at the rear. A range of three real ales are usually available, and there are six bedrooms.

Managed by the owners of local Indian restaurant Masala Twist, part of the pub is 'Sultan', specialising in Turkish mezze.
