Fine 17th cent. timber framed building on village green. Deep well close to main entrance. Disabled toilet. Most of the building dates from the early 19th century, though some of it goes back to 1694 or earlier. Breakfast 8-10.30 Mon-Sat, 8.30-10.30 Sun.

Historic Interest

Brewery here in 1870/80s A report in the Bury & Norwich Post** on 28 Jan in 1801 states that : Died, Mr John NUNN, farmer & corn dealer, in Northgate Street, Bury, late of Beighton White Horse. A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 16 Sep in 1857 states that : Auction sale of 4 Quarter Brewing Plant, about 500 gallons of beer etc…at the White Horse Inn Brewery & Cherry Gardens, Beyton.
