A listed building, this popular local sits in the middle of the village a short walk from the railway station. The restaurant, serving good home cooked food, is within the public bar area separated by up-lights from an original wall, with a separate bar for pool and darts. On bank holidays and special occasions live music is performed. The pub holds regular quiz nights and bingo. On any day, you can expect a choice of six real ales. Accommodation is available.
