Reopened on 23 October 2024 with a new tenant and with the pub's name reverting to the White Hart (the pub signage will be changed in January 2025).
A large pub with two interlinked rooms and a restaurant. The Real Ales will feature one or two paler ales and one or two darker ales, the latter especially during the winter. Most will be sourced from local breweries but the pub has the opportunity to source beers from further afield via SIBA brewers (the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates).
A traditional country pub offering a warm welcome to all with a simple but enticing menu.
The new tenant's aim is to make the pub a community hub which caters for the tastes and needs of both Harwell village and the surrounding area; looking to host events for local community groups.
The owners of the company running the White Hart have a lot of experience in the local hospitality trade. In addition to this, prior to taking over the White Hart, the landlord was a director and brewer at LoveBeer Brewery in nearby Milton who provide the house beer.
