Delicensed on 05/10/06, Landlord Alan Sykes, owner Newlord Ltd. Walkers Warrington Ale was introduced here in late 1979. In mid 1981 it was a Tetley pub selling Walkers Best Bitter and Tetley Mild (E). In August 1983 the Mild had gone and the Walkers best Bitter had been replaced with Tetley Bitter, but by 1985 the Tetley Mild was available again. The pub was mentioned in articles about Farnworth pubs in April and August 1986, but by November 1986 it had closed for refurbishment, but it had been sold to Regal Knights who also had bought the Railway (Quill and Pen) in Bolton, initially it was keg Tetley only but by August 1988 Was selling Tetley Bitter (H). Regal Knights sold the pub to Councillor Jim Sherrington in mid 1990. By 1992 it was selling Lees Bitter. The Pub was renamed Busters having been previously known as White Hart and (Ye) Old(e) White Hart. Building caught fire as AJ's cafe 25/05/15.
