This Pub is Closed Long Term
Originally bought as a former stables and wheelwright's shop for the princely sum of £375, the name has been with McMullen since 1898, although the current pub was built in 1971 on the other side of the road from the original. A 'proper' local pub right at the heart of the community - there was a significant refurbishment in 2017. The Wheelwrights offers good hearty pub food. The garden has a recently installed safe childrens' play area and good weather brings a bouncy castle. There is a pub quiz every Wednesday evening. June 2021: McMullens confirm they have sold the pub - very unlikely to re-open.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (1 guest ale from the McMullen seasonal ale range) and 1 regular beer.

This beer is served regularly.
