Rebuilt twice after major fires, this is a pub and restaurant with an extensive and varied menu emphasising British rustic fayre including Sunday lunches. There is a large and pleasant tree-lined garden. A number of charity events are run during the year. Alternate Monday night's are quiz night and there is live music on a regular basis at weekends.
