Rebuilt twice after major fires, this is a pub and restaurant with an extensive and varied menu emphasising British rustic fayre including Fish and Chip Fridays and Sunday lunches. There is a large and pleasant tree-lined garden. A number of charity events are run during the year. Quiz night is the last Monday of the month, music bingo on a mid-month Tuesday. There is usually music at the weekends
